Cigarette Lighter Tracker Features

Cigarette Lighter Tracker Features

Panic Alarm

The FMP100 features a built-in panic alarm designed to enhance driver safety. This device plugs directly into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket, making it easy to install and use. In case of an emergency, the driver can press the panic button to generate an alarm event, which can alert authorities or designated contacts to the driver’s location and situation. This feature is particularly useful in scenarios such as accidents, hijackings, or other threats, providing an added layer of security and peace of mind for drivers. Additionally, the tracker includes an RGB LED and buzzer to indicate the device’s status and vehicle events, ensuring the driver is always informed.

Alerts

The FMP100 offers a range of alerts to enhance vehicle security and monitoring. Here are the different types of alerts the trackers can provide:

  1. Tamper Alerts: These alerts notify you if there is any attempt to tamper with or remove the tracker from the vehicle. This ensures that you are immediately aware of any potential security breaches.

  2. Geofence Alerts: You can set up geofences, which are virtual boundaries around specific areas. The tracker will send alerts when the vehicle enters or exits these predefined zones, helping you monitor vehicle movements and prevent unauthorised use.

  3. Crash Detection Alerts: The tracker is equipped with an accelerometer that can detect collisions. In the event of a crash, it will send an alert, allowing for a quick response and assistance.

  4. Driver Identification Alerts: Using the Driver ID Token, the system can identify and authenticate drivers. Alerts are sent if an unauthorised person attempts to operate the vehicle, enhancing security.

  5. Battery and Power Alerts: These alerts inform you about the status of the tracker’s battery and power supply. If the tracker is running low on battery or if there is a power disconnection, you will receive an alert to take necessary action.

  6. Speeding Alerts: The tracker can monitor the vehicle’s speed and send alerts if it exceeds a predefined speed limit. This helps in promoting safe driving practices and reducing the risk of accidents.

  7. Towing Alerts: If the vehicle is being towed without authorisation, the tracker will send an alert, allowing you to take immediate action to prevent theft or unauthorised movement.

These alerts provide comprehensive monitoring and security for your vehicle, ensuring that you are always informed about its status and any potential issues.

Our telemetry systems include real-time tracking, which provides up-to-the-minute data on vehicle location, speed, and route history. Additionally, Complexus telemetry supports driver behaviour monitoring, capturing data on harsh braking, acceleration, and cornering to promote safer driving practices. Geofence alerts enhance security by notifying users of unauthorised movements, these comprehensive telemetry options ensure that users have all the necessary tools for efficient and secure vehicle management.

Safety

Crash detection is an essential feature in modern vehicle safety systems, designed to provide immediate assistance in the event of an accident. The FMP100 includes advanced crash detection capabilities, which automatically alert emergency services if a crash is detected. This system uses sensors to monitor the vehicle’s movements and impacts, ensuring that any significant collision triggers an immediate response. By quickly notifying the appropriate authorities, crash detection helps to reduce response times, potentially saving lives and minimising the severity of injuries. This feature offers drivers and their loved ones peace of mind, knowing that help is on the way even if they are unable to call for it themselves.

Easy Installation

The FMP100 from Complexus is designed for effortless installation, making it accessible for users without technical expertise. Simply plug the device into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter port, typically located on the centre console. This port is standard in most modern vehicles, ensuring compatibility. Once connected, the tracker automatically powers up and begins transmitting data. There’s no need for additional wiring or complex setup procedures. The intuitive design ensures that you can quickly and easily start monitoring your vehicle’s diagnostics and performance without any hassle.
