Who are SIRESP?
The SIRESP network is the exclusive communications network of the State Portuguese for the command, control, and coordination of communications in all emergency and security situations, which responds to the needs of more than 40,000 users and supports an annual number of more than 35 million calls, which allows to increase the levels of trust, safety and well-being of populations.
What is the SIRESP Bootcamp?
The primary purpose of the SIRESP Bootcamp is the development of skills, the discussion of concepts and topics of interest to the SIRESP Community, with a view to both demonstrate practical application as well as their operational validation.
Aaron Donnelly Presents: The integration of 3GPP MCX
Complexus’ Director, Aaron Donnelly was invited to present on some of his insights. Aaron spoke about how 3GPP MCX should be integrated slowly alongside the current ETSI TETRA to run side by side rather than an ‘overnight’ switch over. In addition, he spoke about the importance of integrating industry partnerships continuously to improve the operational service.
