In an effort to support a noble cause, Complexus, supported the 4 man team from the UK 9 Peaks Challenge by providing crucial tracking technology as well as donating £1500, all in aid of the revered Scotty’s Little Soldiers charity.
What is the UK 9 Peaks Team Challenge?
The UK 9 Peaks Team Challenge is a gruelling, multi-day event where the team ascends the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales.
This extreme challenge is not only a test of physical and mental endurance but also serves a heart-warming purpose: raising funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers. This charity, founded in memory of Corporal Lee Scott and provides invaluable support to children who have lost a parent serving in the British Armed Forces.
The UK 9 Peaks Team Challenge was not only a physical and mental test for the participants but saw the team come away with a World Record, completing the climb in just 45 hours and 11 minutes.
How did Complexus support the UK 9 Peaks Team Challenge?
Complexus played a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the challenge by providing advanced trackers for the participants that
enabled their supporters to follow their journey. These trackers helped monitor the progress and location of the teams, ensuring their safety throughout the demanding challenge.
In addition to their technological support, Complexus contributed £1500 to Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
